Sidewalk Surfers

If you re-released the legendary video-game “Tony Hawk’s Skateboarding” today, Sidewalk Surfers would contribute the main part of the game’s soundtrack.
The young guns from Saarbruecken, Germany, strike a nerve that forged the lifestyle of a whole generation and that is slowly being revived nowadays: labelled as skate-punk, or melodycore about 20 years ago defined by fast breaks, uptempo beats, melodic hooklines, punk-rock-riffs and a “fuck you al”l attitude. It makes no sense to mention the influences from the 90s that are still out there, alive and kicking. Everyone knows which bands we are talking about.
Formed in 2014, Sidewalk Surfers release their debut full length album “Dinner for Sinners” on March 9th, 2018 via Long Beach Records Europe. The Sidewalk Surfers don’t have to take cover, being of young age of merely 20 years old – they are an adequate match for all the international bands out there!
